The senior brand & content specialist will execute a robust pipeline of insight-driven content marketing campaigns targeted a wide variety of sectors and audiences in the packaging industryThis role will specialize in creating compelling content for protective packaging customers.
This role is primarily responsible for the creation and deployment of compelling content that drives buyer engagement through various digital channels including social media, search engine optimization (seo), search engine marketing (sem), paid advertising, mobile, and emerging online channelsResponsible for supporting repeatable, scalable demand generation programsIt requires a mind that thrives on creative problem-solving, authoritative storytelling, an understanding of the way people make purchase decisions, and a skill for translating complex information into simple messages.
The senior brand & content specialist will be able to synthesize market research, industry trend analysis, and inputs from various market sectors to craft compelling content that drives buyer engagement through a wide variety of media and channels.
The success of this position will be measured in content performance metrics (site engagement, views, leads generated, and downloads from online prospects, etc.) and in on-time percentage in hitting ambitious timelines for content delivery to support annual campaign objectives.
Translate critical insights into original, compelling customer content and tools that can be presented to customers to drive new business and deepen customer relationships, or that can drive buyer intent through web, email, and other digital demand generation channels.
Coordinate with global marketing and regional marketing & sales teams and to develop content for sales messages, webinars, case studies, videos, and engagement tools that are backed by original insight into the markets and customers we serve.
Partner with digital campaign manager and senior editorial manager to prioritize and produce content (email, social, web, video, etc.) that will drive the greatest engagement with prospective buyers.
Follow editorial content and style guide standards as directed to create impactful, credible written content that is appropriate for each channel.
Create content in a timely, efficient manner to meet deadlines in accordance with editorial process standards, and use of project management and content management system platforms (wrike, adobe experience manager, hootsuite)
Synthesizes market research, industry trend analysis, and inputs from various market sectors to craft compelling content that drives buyer engagement through a wide variety of media and channels
Ba/bs degree in marketing, communications, business, journalism, new media, or related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience creating content to support digital marketing campaigns
5+ years writing for digital content marketing channels (social media, email, web, sponsored newsletters, blogs) strongly preferred
Ability to clearly articulate and visually represent complex ideas
Superior communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to maintain brand and voice consistency across channels
Excellent relationship-building skills complemented by the proven ability to work with others, especially across team boundaries and functions
Strong leadership, creativity, critical thinking, and planning/execution skills
Ability to take ownership and drive multiple projects from start to finish, while working across groups
A storyteller who uses his/ her communications strength to move others
Intellectually curious, strong attention to detail, self-motivated
Experience with content creation tools (adobe creative cloud)
Experience working within a content management system (aem preferred)
Ability to grasp future trends in digital technologies and act proactively
