The finance manager is responsible for controlling the financial operations of the business units and assures project and program management governance.
Responsibilities:
Manage and continuously improve the process
Resolve budgetary issues across the board
Consolidate and gather relevant information from several systems and resources, analyze and prepare forecasts and budget information
Prepare financial forecasts and plan vs actuals
Provide analysis of budgetary and resourcing aspects of the project/program
Manage resourcing analysis, capacity planning and utilization and work progress
Promote efficiency, cost saving and improvement to processes
Map local teams’ capabilities, enhance and improve weak bu`s
Involved in reconciliation, complex analysis, communicating instructions related to resolution of issues, etc., that will assist in the smooth operation of the financial activities
Track and report on trends; raising areas of concerns for any potential deviations from project/program plans.
Prepare and distribute month end closure reports including invoicing
Prepare and maintain operational reports based on plans, raw data
Identify and report on potential financial risks
Prepare urgent ad hoc reports
Prepare accurate and timely p&l, project control, and data base reports, based on the information systems
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in economics / business and management / accounting / industrial engineering
High level of competency in microsoft office suite, including excel model design and creation and visual basic
At least 10 years proven experience in financial analysis - must
Experience in budget management - must
Experience in the technology industry / insurance - advantage.
High level of competency in microsoft office suite, including excel model design and creation and visual basic.
Experience in erp and bi
Financial experience in financial accounting processes - implications of activity on financial statements, manner of reporting, work with auditors - advantage.
Ability to perform precise and thorough work, including understanding the data and producing financial materials
Experience working in a dynamic environment, possessing the ability to respond promptly and effectively to a wide-range of scenarios
Strong business acumen
Excellent analytical, problem solving, planning, organizing skills
Strong oral and written communication skillsAbility to create and deliver presentations
Previous involvement with the creation of work plans, project scopes and capacity planning a plus
Personal skills: independent worker, thinks outside the box, presentable
Team player able to influence others
