This position will manage relationships and drive sales revenue to identified key end users implementing samsung it b2b products/solutions within the qsr/convenience store verticalIdentify and manage new opportunities for samsung digital display line-up & solutions within the customer base of the assigned account list and drive those opportunities to closure on a quarterly basis.
This includes maintaining and enhancing the samsung relationship and product breadth within these identified accounts by;
Identifying key opportunities for samsung it b2b products
Identifying key decision makers along with c-level and develop relationships
Developing and planning account and product strategies
Negotiate and close opportunities
Maintain total customer satisfaction
Grow current customer base with additional solutions offerings
Build relationships with samsung partners specializing within the qsr / convenience store vertical
Attend vertical specific trade-shows/conventions
Role and responsibilities
Roles and responsibilities:
The key account manager – kam position manages new and existing national vertical targets and identifies incremental business within a fixed set of named accountsWorks one-on-one within multiple departments of an account to uncover new business opportunities and collaborates with our b2b channel/solution providers to negotiate competitive pricingUncovers multiple business opportunities within a named account and works those projects through all phases of the sales cycle and is responsible for closing projects on a monthly and quarterly basis.
Integral to this role is the ability to collaborate with distribution, channel partners, internal account managers, supply chain, operations and marketing departmentsThe overall objective is to drive a greater awareness and acceptance of samsung’s product/solutions portfolio into the qsr/c-store industriesIdentify, develop, maintain, and leverage key decision maker/ c -level relationships within key strategic end-customers.
Responsible for creating and delivering compelling sales presentationsDevelops and maintains partnerships between the company and end-customers through the management of sales process and negotiation of contractsReports on all sales activity and provides assessment of revenue opportunity along with model and unit forecast.
Drive awareness and maintain working knowledge of samsung’s products in vertical solutions, and business market trendsPerform long range planning to increase product placement, customer satisfaction and sales growth for long term results and achievement of assigned sales targets
Responsible for maintaining weekly/monthly/quarterly reports and ensuring any/all deadlines are met when requested.
Work independently and travel up to 75%+ of the time.
Develop a clear understanding of the samsung offerings within the qsr/c-store vertical.
Skills and qualifications
Necessary skills / attributes:
Bachelor`s degree or equivalent experience with a minimum of 7-10 years of direct sales experience is required
10+ years it b2b outside sales experience calling on channel partners and end customers
Direct experience one of the following vertical markets: qsr or c-store
Menu board and/or od led experience a plus
Must have strong forecasting and pipeline management experience
Excellent organizational and planning skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong analytical skills
Ability to travel within the u.s
Must have salesforce experience
Microsoft office skills required
