Designation: area sales manager
Job description:
Dealer sales network planning & management
Identify the key markets/regions within bangalore/rest of karnataka and develop a plan to
Build a dealer sales network in these states
Identify distributors/dealers in these markets, setup meetings and develop partnerships with
Dealers in these markets to push products
Develop and own the monthly/quarterly/annual dealer sales plan for bangalore/rest of
Karnataka with targets for dealers/distributors in each focus market/region.
Ensure regular personal meetings with dealers in the region to follow up on needs,
Requirements, challenges and targets.
Track monthly/quarterly/annual dealer targets and follow up on a regular basis to ensure
Targets being met.
Distributor/dealer account management & marketing
Maintain the relationship with dealers/distributors and ensure stock levels are replenished on a
Regular basis.
Track any pending revenue collections from dealers/distributors and manage credit
Manage dealer marketing requirements such as collateral/branding needs
Develop and launch dealer contests and schemes to help improve sales on a quarterly basis
Position requirements
A graduate degree/diploma in with 3-5 years of prior experience dealer/channel sales
Experience in solar industry mandatory.
Ability to handle pressure and work aggressively to meet targets
Ability to think fast, negotiate and take quick decisions.
Good communication skills – a flair for sales and interacting with people.
Knowledge of south indian languagesCandidate must be fluent in kannada, hindi and english.
Flexible to travel – on an average 15-20 days a month.
Ability to work with ms word, ms powerpoint and ms excel softwares.
Working hours & culture
Office hours – 9 am – 5:30 pm on weekdays, 6 days a week (monday – saturday)
Presence on field will be mandatory, hence office presence will depend on necessity to travel
