Full job description
The junior engineer - assembly reports to the manager of manufacturing.

Position scope & purpose:
To support in smooth functioning of assembly department by effective planning and resource managementWork with department head/production engineer in planning and execution of production ordersManage department specific materials movement and reporting in the erp system (sap).
Key accountabilities/essential functions:
1Support in planning and execution of production based on schedules.
2Monitor and supervise a team of operators during daily production activities.
3.manage the day to day material movements and reporting in the erp system
4.support in preparing periodical production/rejection reports, root cause analysis, capa reports, etc.
Other position duties:
1Ensure 5s in the work area
2Support in preparing & maintaining all production related documentation as per the qms requirements.
3Assist in employee recruitment, performance evaluation, promotion, retention and termination activities.
4Assist in managing the local it infrastructure
Technical/functional skill sets:
1Sound technical knowledge and experience in manufacturing
2Considerable knowledge on handling assembly lines/equipment/ tools
3Knowledge in iso 9001/iso 13485 quality systems.
4Computer literateHigh level knowledge in computer hardware/software is preferred.
5Basic knowledge of erp systems (tally, sap, etc.)
