Purpose and objectives
We are hiring talent attraction manager to lead a team of innovative, hard-working, fun, diverse, and smart talent attraction partners dedicated to sourcing and attracting top technology talentThis tech recruiting team in north america is specialized in hiring the game-changing technology & product talent responsible for conceiving, designing and inventing sap’s innovative productsIf successful, you would be leading a team based across different locations usa and canadaIn his role, you will leverage your expertise in tech talent market economies, diversity & inclusion and competitive hiring practices to shape hiring managers` and executives` strategy on hiring tech talent.
Expectations and tasks
§ lead a diverse team of tech talent attraction professionals and experts with integrity, transparency and empathy.
§ build an approach to deliver best in class candidate and customer experience and use the data and unstructured feedback in order to continuously improve experience.
§ contribute to the global ta organization, by leading teams through change, championing new strategies and being an advocate for the global ta organization.
§ apply the right measurements and feedback to the team, individually and collectively to ensure growth and success.
§ own and deliver the team’s commitment to their customers’ hiring goals
§ enable the team to create and deliver recruiting strategies to attract the best candidates and fill positions
§ build exceptional relationships and become valued as a trusted partner to hr peer functions who play a significant role in hiring and onboarding talent to sap
§ handle escalations and manage expectations of hiring managers and executives when required to educate on market conditions.
§ people management:
O conduct weekly 1:1s, quarterly performance reviews and annual compensation planning for each direct report
O ensure each employee has measurable goals and development plans in place
O hire and retain top ta talent and engage with employees on career path plans
Education and qualifications / skills and competencies
8+ years’ experience, at least 4 of which should be in an in-house or internal recruitment role, within a large enterprise tech org where the core focus has been on hiring tech talent.
Experience leading a talent attraction team and/or coaching & mentoring less experienced team members
Demonstrable knowledge of the technology talent market and software/tech industry and understanding of current technology trends and terminology and a desire to keep abreast of emerging technologies
Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills as well as proven ability to build strong relationships with hr peer functions in sap (hr, employer branding, onboarding, total rewards, talent intelligence, global service delivery etc).
Proven ability to lead and facilitate change and improvements for the benefit of the wider team and demonstrable dedication to developing self and others.
Ability to develop in sap’s how we run and lead behaviours, particularly explore possibilities, unlock potential and make it happen together.
Given the remote distribution of the team, this position can be located anywhere within north america, where the local time-zone would allow for a good overlap with core business hours of the teams you would be leadingThis role reports into the north america head of technology talent acquisition, sap, based in the usa.
