Job summary oversees, directs and coordinates the panning, organizing, training and leadership of the restaurant staff necessary to achieve stated objectives in sales, costs, employee retention, guest service and satisfaction, food quality, cleanliness and sanitationadheres to the food service and safety rules and regulations as per restaurant policy, state and government laws and municipal regulations activities & responsibilities ensure that all restaurant policies, procedures, standards, specifications and guide lines are followedensure that all guests feel welcome and are given responsive, friendly and courteous service at all timesensure that food and beverage products are prepared consistently and served to the restaurants recipe, portioning, cooking and serving standardsarchive company objectives in sales, service quality, guest satisfaction, appearance of facility ad cleanliness through training, leading by example and checkingperform financial activities, such as cash handling, deposit preparation, purchase expensescompile and balance cash receives and sales report at the end of the serviceensure that all products received are as per restaurant quality standards and in correct unit countcontrol and supervise monthly inventory of food, beverages, alcohol, equipment, glassware, tableware, and cutlery and report any shortagescontrol and supervise daily inventory of food, beverages and alcohol and check prepared orders before placing themattended to the phone, take reservations, home delivery orders and to go ordersprepare staff schedule on a weekly basis in accordance with business forecasts to ensure service standards are meetprepare required paper work, including forms, reports and schedules in an organized and timely mannerobserve (and correct if required) employees and work procedures to ensure quality standards and service standards are meetfully understand and comply with the state and municipal rules and regulations that pertrain to the restaurant operationsupervise and participate in the kitchen and dining room cleaning activitiesgreet guest promptly when entering the restaurant and escort them to an assigned table or to the designated waiting area it they cannot be seated immediatelyrecognize and learn the names of regular guestspresent menu cards to guest once seated at the table or whilst waiting to be seatedinform guests about menu changes and daily specials and make recommendations you genuinely feel your guest will enjoytake food and beverage orders & train the f& b associates on the same and repeat the order carefully to the guest to confirm the ordersplace food and beverage orders into the computer system including special requirements and notes, hand the order tickets to the respective sections in the kitchen and barmonitor and observe guests dining experience to ensure guests are satisfied with their food and beverages choices and respond promptly and courteously to correct any problemscheck the bill before presenting it to the guest to ensure it is correctenquire about the guests dining experience at the end of the meal and present the guest comment book to thempresent bill to guest and collect the payment either by card or cashthank the guest as they leave the restaurantactively participates in the weekly scheduled deep cleaning of the restaurant and beverage / guest supply storage areascoordinate and assist fellow employees to meet guest needs and support the operation of the restaurantfill in for fellow employees where needed to ensure guest service standards and efficient operationhold daily staff briefings for restaurant and kitchen employeesjob types: full-time, regular / permanentsalary: from inr28,500.00 per monthbenefits:
