Admissions operations support assistant
Rivier university seeks a part-time, non-exempt admissions operations assistant to support all admissions processing efforts relative to admission applicant workflowsThis role serves as a data processor and evaluator for the academic admission and entry process specifically for the international student population.
This is a part-time, 10 month, 20 hours a week remote position with the opportunity for 25 hours during peak times position.
Perform a variety of complex data entry tasks and retrieval tasks including the ability to import and export data as required.
Excellent data entry skills to update and input applicant data into student information system from a variety of sources and to clarify questionable or incomplete data on source documents.
Process admissions documents, manually logging and cross-referencing data entry work as required and perform daily audit tasks as necessary to ensure adherence to data entry and processing standards.
Work effectively, efficiently, and cooperatively with diverse groups and individuals in a group environment as a member of the admissions operations team.
Handle a high volume of work, and effectively and appropriately relate to students, other college personnel and community members and to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
Support overall enrollment goals of the admissions office which may include evaluating applicant files during peak times.
Associates degree and two or more years of experience in higher education preferred or a combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills are acquired.
Experience working in a crm and enterprise database preferred.
Knowledge and skills:
Ability and willingness to support the mission of rivier university and the department in all daily activities.
Must have strong organizational skills and ability to anticipate needed resources and information to see projects to successful conclusion.
Working knowledge of computers-both enterprise and pc including but not limited to word processing, database programs, and spreadsheets.
The position requires independent initiative, judgement, the ability to handle confidential records, ensuring compliance with ferpa regulations, and accurate data entry.
Demonstrated ability to prioritize work and make workflow decisions independently.
