The role will be responsible to develop, drive and implement all aspects of the user experienceThe company’s main product deliverable is the data the service or instrumentThe role will be responsible to define the data analysis and visualization strategy for the companyThe successful candidate will be responsible to have deep market knowledge, key opinion leader relationships and a successful history of deploying products and services to the life science industryDeveloping a strong relationship with bioinformatics and other product development stakeholders will a key to success.
The role is a remote role and can be based in the company’s headquarters of monheim, germany or the office in san josé, ca or home office but will need to effectively work globally to drive the teamThis role reports to the chief commercial officer of the company until a strategic marketing leader is added to the company.
Supervise, implement, define, and get cross-functional alignment for all marketing requirements documents for all informatics, data products and user experiences for the company’s products and services the company.
Drive the product development process from product inception to alpha, beta, launch to obsolescence for user experience mainly related to data analysis and visualization tool.
Working with the commercial team collect voice of customer.
Primary point of contact for the company about informatics and analysis tools monitoring commercial offerings as well as academic data platforms.
Drive high level engagement with key opinion leaders to ensure mindshare of important customers in the market.
Develop and deploy through the rest of the commercial team the data strategy for the company.
Define appropriate and robust alpha plan and beta plans to demonstrate that the product is ready for launch.
Commercial owner of the product development life cycle for the company for all software tools.
Recruit and hire a team of product managers that drive the company’s roadmap.
Work in partnership with commercial marketing to develop all product launch communication.
Proven track record of product management and strategic marketing leadership
Self-starter comfortable in a dynamic, face paced, ever evolving commercial environment
Ability to create strategic marketing plans and then deploy them with a team
Strong informatics and data analysis background
Passionate about the customer experience
Deep understanding of life cycle management and requirements development
Track record of success in product management serving with product offerings that serve offerings to scientists and clinicians in the basic research, translational research and molecular diagnostic markets
Expertise in marketing into the fields of neuroscience, oncology or infectious disease is a plus
Ability to think strategically and execute a tactical plan
Degree in biology, genetics, genomics or related scientific fields
Experience in managing teams in europe and the us at the same time
Knowledgeable about how to remotely manage teams for high level performance
Strong application and use case knowledge in genomics, ish, cellular analysis or microscope applications
Experience working in global markets
