As a sr defined benefit coding analyst, you will be responsible for overseeing the activities of multiple operations teams through client onboarding to ensure system requirements are configured according to the client’s plan designYou will also be responsible for programming, maintaining and testing software that provides participants access to their retirement benefits on the webUtilize your technical skills to independently research and complete pension calculations, analyze results and make necessary recommendations.
We are looking for someone who thrives on solving unique problems using advanced analytical skills and enjoys working with clients, various internal partners and tools pending the business needServing as an expert for internal and external contacts.
Additional responsibilities may include:
Program and test administrative software and systems for defined benefit calculations, utilizing plan documents, sample calculations and calculation policies.
Work with clients, pension administration team and actuarial team to create system requirement documents and data mapping specifications ensuring a seamless implementation for new clients
Create test plans and conduct quality assurance testing, including regression testing
Troubleshoot and debug administrative systems to confirm accuracy per client plan specifications.
Maintain programming for software enhancements, plan amendments, compliance and regulatory changes.
Provide technical support and resolution to business partners to ensure accurate functionality of system calculations, including research, analysis and calculation consulting
Utilize defined benefit expertise to clearly communicate complex calculations in simplified terms for internal and external parties.
Lead and assist in the completion of assigned projects, including but not limited to research, analysis and testing.
Identify, analyze and resolve administrative system concerns
Qualifications: skills required:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent of 8 years’ experience(degree in math, actuarial science, statistics, or major in an analytical field is preferred.)
5+ years of work-related experience in defined benefit pension field is required.
Previous experience using defined benefit systems such as lynchval/lvadmin, proval/proadmin or another pension software is required.
Past experience working with large plan implementation
Knowledge of sql, xml or other programming languages is highly preferred.

Salary range information: salary ranges below reflect targeted base salariesNon-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus programSales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performanceActual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offerSalary range: $73100 - $122400 / year additional information:
