Pregnancy aid clinic- communications manager job description
Job title: communications manager reports to: executive director
Pregnancy aid clinic (pac) seeks a communications manager to support its mission to serve women and families in need of pregnancy and parenting supportPac is a non-profit organization providing no-cost pregnancy confirmation, ultrasound exams, sti testing, options information, parenting and prenatal education, free baby and maternity supplies, assistance with medicaid applications, social service referrals and spiritual healing programs for families in metro atlantaClinic locations are in roswell and forest park with a third clinic opening in atlanta planned for fall 2021.

General summary and objectives
The manager will supervise one communications specialist direct report, facilitating an integrated marketing and communications plan to support the development and operational goals of the clinicIntegrated media includes print, email, social media, direct mail and website management for both donor and client audiencesThe manager will plan and implement an annual communication calendar ensuring timely execution of campaigns and tasks within approved budgets.
Ensures the pregnancy aid clinic brand is accurately, professionally and responsibly promoted in all communications.
Adheres to graphics and brand communication standards
Participates in organizational strategic decision-making relative to brand communications
Makes recommendations on advancement of logo and graphic and communications standards
With executive director, creates strategies for integrated donor development campaignsExecutes campaign elements, including print, email, social media, website and direct mail components.
Oversees the design and implementation of digital banner and social media ads.
Supervises digital vendors, collaborating on strategies to reach targeted client audiences through digital tactics.
Establishes and monitors kpis for grant and paid digital programs.
Works with digital media vendor and communications staffer to ensure timely updates for client-facing and donor-facing content.
Creates themed, campaign-specific landing pages and mobile cause donation forms.
Monitors and exports form data and reports back to development and leadership team
Writes, designs and produces materials for donor and client development, including but not limited to brochures, direct mail, brand overviews, bulletins, collateral material and promotional flyers for donor development programs including baby bottle and gala events
Hires and supervises print vendors
Manages print collateral inventory and ensures supplies are properly stocked and orders are within budget
With communications specialist, manages the constant contact database, ensuring records are updated and compliant, lists are properly maintained, and e-blast reports are monitored and disbursed
Writes, designs and executes email blasts in accordance with communication calendar and defined objectives for donor development, community awareness, news updates, etcAnd
Writes and designs quarterly newsletter, including procurement of story content, client testimony, photos, liability releases, and director letter.
Oversees print production
Creates digital format for e-newsletter
Presentation and video production
Assists leadership team with power point presentation materials
Supervises video production and creates simple video for social media and video blogging
Contributing member of the events team, including annual gala and weekend “baby bottle” program.
Other qualifications include:
Working knowledge of digital marketing, google marketing, social media
2-3 years of experience in graphic design; knowledge of photoshop, illustrator, microsoft office, power point, and/or comparable design software
Experience with word press and/or comparable website management systems
Strong presentation skills and ability to independently manage community outreach and presentation at church and community functions
Ability to succinctly communicate the pregnancy aid clinic brand and mission to internal and external audiences
Ability to work occasional weekends and evenings
Exemplify the pregnancy aid clinic mission through responsible christian living, teamwork and fellowship
Adherence to the clinic’s pro-life mission and willingness to sign a statement of faith.
Strong commitment to the sanctity of all human life
Undergraduate degree in marketing, communications or related field preferred or relevant experience
Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in marketing or fundraising for non-profit
Ability to work independently and with initiative as well as within a team
Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task
Ability to be crafty with a limited marketing budget
Commitment to respect confidentiality and adhere to mandated hipaa compliancy
Reliable transportation needed for travel to events
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent job-related experience, preferably in marketing or related service field.
Analytical ability to formulate marketing strategy and evaluate staff needs and quality of client service.
Excellent written communication skills to relate to professional, medical, church and social service agencies/organizations, as well as volunteers, clients and donors.
Self-starter with good judgment and integrity.
Willingness and ability to serve clients and other pregnancy aid clinic constituencies (including other staff, donors, vendors, etc.) in a way that honors the mission and supports and promotes pregnancy aid clinics life-affirming ministry.
Willingness and ability to demonstrate commitment to pregnancy aid clinic’s mission … (vision, statement of faith, core values—whatever is appropriate for center) in the execution of position responsibilities.
Willingness and ability to share christian qualities by word and example (including prayer) to encourage clients, staff and other pregnancy aid clinic’s constituencies and to contribute to an office environment conducive to supporting pregnancy aid clinic’s ministry of life.
