Key responsibilities:
1Oversee accounting function and lead the accounting team.
2Manage financial and regulatory compliance – periodic gst /tds returns, annual filings and other india / overseas statutory compliances
3Manage key accounting operations including funds management, banking operations / reconciliations, payables and ar management
4Provide support to finance leadership on cost management, improving collections and monitoring spends vis a vis approved budget
5Manage month-end book close process including management accounts and balance sheet schedules
6Manage statutory financial reporting, year-end statutory audits and coordinate for tax filings / tp reports
7Coordinate with the internal as well as external auditors to complete the reporting of igaap and ifrs financial statements on time.
8Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
9Drive timely reconciliations, recoveries, and issue resolutions along with the accounting and business teams.
10Prepare monthly cash forecasts and monitor variance
11Supporting financial due diligence.
Experience & skillset required -
1Qualified ca with 6-8 years of post-qualification finance and accounting experience preferably in controllership function in e- commerce companies
3Expertise with, indian gaap, ind as and ifrs.
4Experience on sap, strong in relationship building, problem solving, and timely problem escalationShould have good written and oral communication skills
5Experience in – ar, ap and compliance teams, preferably a team of more than 10
6Should have worked on process improvements and implemented internal financial control
7Hands on experience in tax compliances – direct and indirect tax compliance
8Knowledge & experience in consolidation of books of accounts and monthly book close
