We are seeking enthusiastic professional senior performance test consultants to help lead our growing performance engineering teams in indiaYou will join a global performance engineering practice and lead teams delivering performance testing and engineering services to our top tier client base in the uk, australia and new zealandThis role involves analysing performance risk, planning, engineering, scripting, executing performance tests and monitoring system performance using a variety of tools on your own and in a teamYou will be given the tools you need to advance your skills and experience while developing a rewarding career and adding true value to your career and clients.
Responsibilities:
Lead a performance testing team consisting of the offshore teamAs a senior member of the team, you will be expected to be able to lead more junior team members and assist them with technical issuesDeal directly with clients in anz and the uk to scope out and plan performance test projectsEvaluate overall system capacity during end-to-end load testsWork closely with the test management team to establish performance testing criteria assist project members with infrastructure and application performance monitoring and analysis provide project updates to clients regarding schedule, risks, blockers, work completed/remainingProvide quality, process and technical leadership within the performance management team design and mentor those in creating best-in-class performance testing approaches and plans for enterprise-wide projectsSolve complex technical problems
Mandatory skills & experience:
The ideal person should have 8-10+ years of performance testing experienceMust be able to communicate effectively with clients and lead sessions to determine performance risk and requirements must be able to build workload models from desperate data sourcesProficient and hands-on experience in jmeter and one other commercial tool.(loadrunner, neoload, gatling) basic git and source code management experience in creating, executing and troubleshooting tests across multiple protocols(e.g http, api, terminal emulator, sap, browser based ) must be well versed in using performance tools for advanced test script development beyond the built-in record and playback capabilitiesMust be well able to describe clearly and simply the results of a performance test in the context of business risk / valueMust be able to work with technical teams to diagnose and assist in resolving performance and scalability issuesExcellent verbal and written communication skill are a mustCulture work with like-minded colleagues who have a passion for technical testing excellenceWithin an encouraging and supportive environment, the team-orientated culture is helpful, friendly, inclusive and flexibleThe senior management team has a shared vision and with an open and approachable style, employees have the freedom to bring ideas forward and feel empowered to learnYou will be part of a global performance testing which currently contains nearly 100 consultants across uk, anz and india, who are fanatical about application and system performance benefits as a permanent employee of planit, you will be entitled to all the benefits made available to our staffPlanit offers all employees a highly competitive remuneration package, a wide range of employee benefits, and exceptional career development opportunities with unrivalled training and certification opportunities.
