Reports to: azctecc director
Location: arizona remote
Provides administrative support to the director and assistant director to achieve the azctecc goalsAssists with daily operations and duties such as event planning and updating budget information.
Duties and responsibilities:

Provide administrative support to the director and assistant director of az cte curriculum consortiumAttend training and development classes internally and externally for growth, as neededParticipates as an effective team member by contributing ideas, encouraging others, and supporting team decisionsEvaluate and solve problems within the scope of positionPlans, schedules, and coordinates events, including the scheduling and set up of meeting rooms, ordering food, beverages, etcMaintains calendar, schedules meetings, appointments, conferences, and arranges travel accommodations as neededPrepares and composes a variety of materials, such as reports, correspondence, agendas, forms, spreadsheets, flyers, brochures, and other documents/program materials under the direction of the consortium director and/or assistant directorCommunicates with azctecc member personnel, cte local directors/administrators, teachers, constituents, and business community with resources such as newsletters, email updates, etcProcesses requisitions, create invoices, orders supplies, and equipmentMust be willing to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed, and be willing to travelPerform administrative tasks related to the achievement of grant goalsAbility to analyze, interpret, and organize dataPerforms related duties as assigned.
Training and evaluation:
The administrative assistant will be provided training related to all functions of their positionAn evaluation will be conducted at 90-days and annually thereafter.
The administrative assistant directly supports the coordination of azctecc daily tasks to achieve the organization’s goals and objectivesConsistent and timely completion of tasks is imperativeThe administrative assistant is expected to communicate regularly with the director and assistant director to ensure timely progress of projects and tasks.

High school degree or equivalent required; some college coursework in business administration, business leadership, office practices, or related field preferredOne year of administrative assistant experienceHighly skilled in word processing, spreadsheet applications, and relevant software applications (google appsMicrosoft office, microsoft excel, etc.) must pass a background checkProof of mmr immunization required unless born prior to january 1, 1957 negative tb test within the last year possess a valid az driver’s licenseKnowledge of career and technical education preferred.
