In this role, you have the opportunity to make life better
In this role, you have the opportunity to drive strategic operational initiatives within the north america market organizationAs a direct report to the director of quality nam solutions, your primary role will be to support sales, marketing, solutions, government accounts and digital marketing initiativesYou will also drive continuous improvement efforts, lead capas, and take on larger scale escalations that can cross multiple functions to bring to a timely, compliant, and enabling outcome.
You are responsible for
Driving first-time-right commercial launch of new products and solutions
Ensuring new product development and solutions incorporate feasible serviceability requirements
Leading key operational initiatives
Establishing and maintaining daily management of key quality indicators
Providing resolution of ad-hoc escalations, ensuring compliance to philips quality management system, fda regulations and other regulatory agencies’ regulations is maintained
Leading and managing the implementation of continuous improvement activities in areas that will increase performance, improve alignment to philips behaviors and strategy, and maintain visibility to organizational goals and objectives
Providing technical support in market issues like out of tolerance investigations, 3rd party product introduction, and development of solutions
Support global initiatives as required
Leading capa investigations with process owners and meeting timeliness requirements
Creating and managing quality plans through it’s lifecycle as part of driving resolution to escalations, and other initiatives as appropriate
To succeed in this role, you’ll need a customer-first attitude and the following
Bachelor’s degree or higher.
5+ years of medical devices experience in quality engineeringEngineering degree and experience with government contracts, preferred.
Strong experience operating within the requirements of 21 cfr 820 and iso 13485
Proficiency in process analysis and optimization
Strong proficiency using project management tools such as project charters and gantt charts
Proven proficiency and results in driving continuous improvement utilizing tools like pride, dmaic, six sigma, lean or other problem-solving methodologies; green/black-belt certified preferred
Demonstrated ability of handling, analyzing, and presenting large volume of data utilizing statistical analysis tools like ms excel, ms access, minitab or jmp
Strong communication and presentation skills
Self-driven with strategic, tactical, and analytical mindset
Strong stakeholder management, ability to lead and influence others and work well in teams
