We are looking for a skilled autocad technician to join our vibrant and growing engineering division of alloyThe successful candidate will work closely with a team of engineers and scientists on a variety of projects located throughout the western usThis is s full-time position based out of our division headquarters in montana, but a remote position is a possibility depending upon applicant`s need, skills, and preferenceWe offer the successful candidate a competitive salary and benefit package, plus a challenging and rewarding work environment.
Essential roles and responsibilities
Use autocad and civil3d as a design tool to prepare engineering drawings and related graphics; perform calculations; and, integrate with other engineering software.
Assist with preparation of technical reports, data tables, specifications, and other deliverables.
Coordinate with project team members and clients.
Required qualifications and education requirements
Certification or associates degree in civil engineering technology, or similar relevant education
2-4 years of applicable experience with autocad and civil 3d software
Strong proficiency using autocad and civil3d, and exposure to engineering modeling software preferred
Developed organizational and time management skills combined with the flexibility to work with shifting priorities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to include proven technical writing experience
Solid attention to detail is required
Ability to take direction and function independently
Experience and demonstrated proficiency with microsoft office
Preferred skills, education & requirements
Bachelors degree in civil engineering
3+ proven years experience using autocad and civil 3d strongly preferred
Academic, internship, or professional experience in land/site development design and related engineering strongly preferred
Proven client relationship skills
