Under general supervision, this position provides centralized hris support globallyResponsibilities include data entry (manual keying and mass change uploads), generating reports for end users using standard query reporting tools and/or published reports, and providing peer review of data entryFollows-up on hr paperwork to ensure data accuracyProvides technical support and answers hr and employees questions related to data housed in the hr system and/or the hr department website.
Major job responsibilities:
Performs data entry (manual or mass change uploads) into the hr system for hr and benefits transactions, conducts quality control peer review of other hris staff data entry; performs audits; and researches and corrects issues as identified.
Follows up on missing, late or incorrect hr paperwork with appropriate party and resolves issues.
Performs queries and runs customized or canned reports from the hr database; audits hr data to ensure data integrity.
Provides technical support for u.sEmployees` inquires related to accessing and changing data which is stored in the hr database, accessible through an employee self service module.
Participates in projects and performs other general clerical or administrative duties as assigned.
Job qualification
Current education/experience
High school diploma/secondary school diploma or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualification
Minimum 0-1 years data entry, data processing, or relevant administrative experience; or
An equivalent combination of education, training, and professional experience that provides the individual with the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Knowledge, skills and abilities required
Excellent typing, data entry skills and proofreading skills
Hr background or education would be considered an advantage
Strong computer skills including microsoft office and ms excel in particular
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks working with different systems
Must be detail oriented
Ability to handle confidential data
Ability to work as part of a team
Strong customer service skills and analytical abilities
