To support the implementation of our strategy we are now looking to appoint a bim / delpd* bangalore business unit manager(*digital enabled lean project delivery)
This is a strategic role, working with the bangalore operations team and the group head of digital lean project deliveryYou will provide the management direction and technical leadership needed to transform our current bim services to provide people, technology and software solutions to deliver end-to-end project services.
You will be a skilled motivator and successful in building and driving this new team to succeed
This role will be located at our bangalore office
Responsibilities
Day-to-day department manager duties; recruitment and management of resources, budgets, proposal estimates, project support, timesheets and appraisals.
Communicate between senior managers and bim team.
Develop the current team to meet current project commitments.
Supporting customer projects as bim/delpd lead and single point of contact
Working with operations, take a leadership role in the delivery of the bangalore operations digital 2022 plan
In collaboration with other bim/depld managers across the group to ensure best available software applications are being used to drive design coordination and project integration
Engaging with our customer to understand their digital needs and support them.
Maintain bim / digital quality standards to ensure our standards, procedures and practices are compatible with our qms and customer requirements.
Qualifications
Degree in engineering with 10-12 years relevant epc project delivery
Experience managing a bim/delpd team.
Demonstrated capability and knowledge of workflows throughout the project lifecycle.
Ideally experienced working across design, construction and commissioning
Excellent organisational, collaborative and people skills
Proven track record in the provision of leadership and mentoring
Strong commercial focus
Self-starter and decision maker.
Track record of strong communication skills.
