Minimum qualifications include: 8 years experience with computer applications and tools requiredAbility to travel 50% international and domestic.

We are seeking candidates for senior cloud engineer positions for oracle on oci cloud engineering teamIn this position, you should be an experienced professional who has a broad understanding of cloud architecture hosting oracle applicationsThis requires hands-on experience with siebel with cloud database services that go far beyond traditional or current industry approachesShould be able to specify and refine the requirements of automation, management, monitoring, protocols on cloud platformOci is the next generation cloud service built from the grounds-up to support fast paced application requirements, addressing a wide range of customer use casesOur team of cloud engineers are responsible for the application modernization on ociYou will be a part of a diverse team working closely with oracle sales and leadership to build and expand customer’s oci footprint, by effectively engaging with customer from pitch-to-production lifecycle of a customer workload.
Our engineers are deep technical domain experts, who are responsible for both explaining and showing how oracle’s cloud infrastructure solutions solve real-world business challengesThey work closely with field cloud architects to help craft the solution and then continue to collaborate with the customer on implementation of these solutions.

Job responsibilities:
Plan, configure, deploy and operate a cloud solution
Deliver proof of concepts for new solutions on cloud
Good written/verbal communication, presentation, interactive skills with team across geography.
Flexible to work either independently or work in tandem with our engineering team to identify and implement the most efficient cloud-based solutions for the company
Adaptability to learn and use groundbreaking technologies
Collaborate with customers and internal partners to collect, understand and tackle problems
Work with oracle packaged apps team on the shared full stack cloud engineering and migrationThe cloud architect will focus on helping customers determine the solution requirements and help move siebel application leveraging oracle database onto oracle’s cloud infrastructure (oci)The cloud architect will understand the end-to-end configuration, technical dependencies, and overall behavioral characteristics of production.
Candidate should have knowledge on installation and configuration of the siebel systems
Experience in siebel migration, upgrade and platform migrations
Solve complex problems related to infrastructure cloud services and build automation to prevent problem recurrence.
Design and develop designs, architectures, standards, and methods for large-scale distributed systems.
Work closely with customer and/or partners to bring production workload on oracle cloud infrastructure.
Facilitate service capacity planning and demand forecasting, software performance analysis, and system tuning.
Preferred qualifications/primary skills:
10+ years of relevant experience in architecting, designing, implementing, and/or supporting highly distributed applications.
Extensive experience working on at least one public cloud – oracle/aws/azure/google
Certificated in public cloud – oracle/aws/azure/google cloud certified architect professional
Experience working with cloud platforms in either a consulting or engineering role and interested in taking up a technical pre-sales and delivery role
Technical – experience in designing, developing, deploying and/or migrating mission critical business applications to cloud environments including re-platform of such systems
Expertise in architecting best technical solutions based on customer requirement
Experience giving presentations to executive audiences and explaining the benefits of the platform and service solution over competitors
Proficient in siebel installation, administration and maintenance.
Experience in siebel repository migration, dev2prod, migration application.
Performed end-to-end siebel implementations and upgrades (from ip13/14/15/16 etc) especially to versions ip 2017+
Setting up siebel crm for disaster recovery and high availability.
Knowledge in siebel configuration, scripting and workflows is a plus
Knowledge in siebel`s data model.
Experience with cti implementation, siebel eim and eai.
Integrate siebel crm with external applications using mqseries, jms, etc
Technical lead for engagements such as proof of concepts and architectural design sessions to define and design a complete solution using best practices on oracle cloud
They should have managed run & maintain for production customers and their day to day siebel administrative tasks
Candidate should have good experience in managing and maintaining siebel application and web server along with the associated database skills.
Should have interacted extensively with the other support groups such as network admin, dba, etcTo establish and support siebel applications running on the corporate network.
Experience in oracle weblogic, cross platform migration
Candidate should have experience in oracle database and linux os
Education and certification:
A bachelor or master’s in computer science, or equivalent related technical field
