Job role: branch service manager
The primary focus of this role is to achieve the expected customer satisfaction, after sales service and revenue targets of the branch through desired contributionThe role is also responsible for maximizing branch service business through customer excellence and dynamic leadership.
Roles and responsibilities
Ø achieve branch service sales targets across all segments through a focussed customer service approach
Ø align the branch goals as per the regional goals and develop an action plan to achieve the same.
Ø ensure targeted contribution to the overall sales (battery, amc, buy back and pcb) of the branch.
Ø establish service support in the branch and creating local service strategies aligned to the regional strategy.
Ø ensure customer sla’s are met enabling an enhanced customer experience leading to customer delight and customer stickiness.
Ø drive the team to attain the ‘daily sales outstanding’ (dso) at the desired and expected levels.
Ø determines customer service requirements by maintaining contact with customers, benchmarking best practices; analysing customer complaints information and proactively address the same with prompt communication and timely service.
Ø improves customer service quality results by studying, evaluating, and re-designing processes; establishing and communicating service metrics; monitoring and analysing results; implementing changes in consultation with rsh & branch business manager
Ø maximizes customer satisfaction and boost product sales by providing proactive technical advice; resolving problems; innovative technical solutions and excellent branch service team support.
Ø ensure strict compliance towards customer documentation in line with the organization policies (iso standards)
Ø to carry out all the work in a professional and ethical manner and within company policy
Ø build effective relations with major customers, channel partners, agents, specifies, etcWithin the branch
Ø ensure seamless co-ordination between the sales, specification, and retail teams.
Ø work closely with bbm /rsh/rh to build cohesive relation with inter / intra team to maximise the productivity
Ø recruit, retain and develop the branch manpower in line with group values and competenciesAlign the local technical/commercial team at optimum level with higher efficiency.
Ø drive and motivate the local team to achieve the branch business target and support in reducing the dso.
Ø weekly monitoring of branch performance with local team/centers /regional service heads and periodically visit the attached centers for customer visits/team guidance/audit.
Ø up keep of spares inventories as per the recommended msl and monitor the stock accountability on both physical and book stock.
Ø maintain the installations/bd calls/pm as per the quality objectives throughout the branch.
Ø strategic planning
Ø in depth understanding of both project and after sales service.
Ø is able to setup strong monitoring and review mechanisms
Ø strong analytical and business acumen
Qualifications, role specific knowledge and experience
Ø diploma or bachelor degree in engineering (be), preferably in electrical or a science graduate.
Ø relevant work experience of 8 - 12 years with minimum 3 years in people management.
Ø should have an experience in project sales and product sales
Ø previous experience within the manufacturing industry and working in a multinational environment
Ø highly proficient in using ms-office applications like excel, word and power-point and enterprise application software
Ø excellent communication and presentation skills
