Whether you are looking for detailed design, modeling and simulation, hands-on verification testing and troubleshooting, or working with internal or external fabricators and integrator`s, there is a role for you in our department.
Ngms is seeking engineers with experience and interest in software develop and database design including:
Designing, modeling, and verifying rf, microwave, and mixed signal subsystem assemblies
Support verification efforts for rf, analog, and digital hardware designs
Create/manage automated test benches for prototype and low production rate systems
Develop/optimize customer facing software applications for hardware design support
Develop design for testability strategies and methodologies
Collaborating with peer functions such as mechanical, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and test
Deriving and trading requirements with subsystem engineers and component level designers
Working directly with component level design peers developing custom rf integrated circuit designs to meet assembly-level requirements
Supporting products throughout the product life cycle
This position is located in linthicum, md with easy access to the major cities of baltimore to the north and washington dc to the southThe location is a 2 hour drive to the atlantic ocean to the east or the appalachian mountains to the north and westThe area is rich with activities including historical sites, museums, concerts and performing arts venues, college and professional sports, nightlife, and many outdoor activities most notably boating and fishing on the chesapeake bay and surrounding riversThe linthicum campus includes the potential to live in urban, suburban, and waterfront communities within easy commutes and is conveniently located adjacent to the bwi international airport and an amtrak rail station.

Level 2
Basic qualifications
Electrical engineering or related stem field degree: bachelor of science with 2 years of software experience or master’s degree or 6 years test engineering experience (relevant coursework will be considered)
Hands on experience utilizing test instrumentation such and power supplies, network analyzers, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, high speed digital io, ect
Us citizenship is required
Ability to obtain and maintain a dod security clearance
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Productive in a team working environment
Level 3
Basic qualifications
Electrical engineering or related stem field degree: bachelor of science with 5 years of software experience; master’s degree with 3 years of software experience; or phd degree; or 10 years of test engineering experience (relevant coursework will be considered)
Hands on experience utilizing test instrumentation such and power supplies, network analyzers, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, high speed digital io, ect
Us citizenship is required
Ability to obtain and maintain a dod security clearance
Proven knowledge of test engineering support on system on chip (soc)
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Productive in a team working environment
Preferred qualifications:
Computer science/computer engineering/electrical engineering degree
Developing automate test equipment (ate) concepts at wafer and packaged level
Verilog or vhdl experience for supporting field programmable field arrays.
Object oriented programing (oop)
White box testing
Customer-focused software development
In lab rf measurements
Secret clearance or ssbi/sci
Salary range: $78,600 usd - $118,000 usd salary range 2: $96,900 usd - $145,300 usd
