Job description-
The associate consultant is a key member of the risk data analytics team (part of risk analytics and data services – rads) responsible for supporting the data and analytics needs of nt’s bu chief risk officers (wealth management, asset management and corporate & institutional services)Responsibilities include understanding business fundamentals, tracking risk drivers, and designing/delivering data and analytical solutions that will allow for oversight of digitalization efforts and resiliency risksThe associate consultant will work as an individual contributor in a team environment performing requirements gathering, data analysis, dataset preparation, data validation, reporting/ visualization, and analytics.

Major duties
Support the data analytics needs of risk analytics and data services department with focus on supporting business unit risk managers (burms) data and analytics requirements around digital, cyber and/or technology resiliency risk.
Work with bu’s and it to understand data and digitalization effortsMonitor and assess potential risks associated with the effortsBuild data solutions that will help track the risks
Understand business, data and technical architecture and identify potential risks associated with large technology digitalization efforts around cloud migration, information security, privacy, cyber threats, digital transformation risk, application vulnerabilities, etc.
Develop data solutions using power bi, sql, python, spark (incorta) and/or any other tools to deliver analytic solutions
Contribute to the development and delivery of solutions that: leverage and extend existing data warehouse & business intelligence and analytics infrastructure; take data governance and enterprise solutions into consideration; are scalable, repeatable and effective; and follow agreed upon governance and technology policies
Develop dashboards and create ad-hoc reporting as needed using self-service tools like power bi and incorta
Create and maintain requirements, specifications, and business process documentation
Identify opportunities to enhance processes regarding data flow and data quality to improve accuracy, viability and value
Participate in special projects as needed and perform other duties as assigned to support the risk analytics and data services team and the risk management organization
Qualification
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in management information systems, computer science, computer applications, information technology, data analytics, business administration or a related field
Skills required
Strong data analysis, visualization and reporting skills
Proficient in facilitating requirements discussions and converting those conversations into data/analytics solutions
Experience and knowledge of agile work environments
Expertise in excel, power bi, sql, python, cloud concepts and spark programming
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Professional certifications in information security (cism), cyber, digital, technology risk (cissp, ccsp) or in ms azure would be preferred.
Detailed oriented, persistent, and intellectually curious problem solver
Knowledge of financial industry digitalization trends and resiliency requirements is a plus
