About the role to deliver high quality custom projects working with the mmm consulting communityInitially the focus will be on delivery, leveraging some of nielsen systems and also work with external data and packages like sas, r etcThe role includes working directly with end client in different geographies and also at times present business findings/insightsThe role also includes stakeholder management for delivery and custom solutions.
Provide delivery & solution capability as part of our consultant team in driving high quality results on custom projects
Key responsibilities for alignment across projects in large scope, multi-country engagements
Ensure effective and timely delivery of project work
Take accountability, propose initiatives and follow-through
End to end management of projects / workload and lead to closure.
Provide design solutions for custom analytics.
Liaise with appropriate aac and nielsen departments to ensure hardware and software requirements are fulfilledConfidential and proprietary.
Work with co/third party modellers to deliver business insights and findings
Ensure team’s compliance to aac modeling practices and company quality standards
Maximize the efficient and effective use of resource by utilizing appropriate processes and tools
To build and maintain effective contacts with other departments to ensure the efficient and effective use of resources
Work with geographically spread out teams, have a flexible working style; be hands on - at times able to drive and help teams deliver
Propose/engage in designing forward looking training for the team basis technological advancements
Help in conceptualizing the vision for the team and drive the team towards that vision
Requirements and skills
9-13 years of relevant experience
M.sc/ m.a – mathematics, statistics, economics, actuarial sciences
Or mba in a related area
Solution oriented mind-set
In-depth understanding of market research
Highly proficient in statistical modeling techniques and applications
Exposure to various analytical solutions like mmm, pricing, forecasting, etc
Highly proficient in project management
Solid proficiency of decision making and problem resolution skills
Passion for results with a challenger mind-set
Capable of mentoring / coaching co-workers in order to promote out of the box thinking
Highly proficient in powerpoint and advanced excel skills
Strong team management and leadership skills
Strong communication skills
Fluency in english
