*uncapped 20% commission-only role*
About us: let’s be real, hangovers suckWe’re no stranger to them, and chances are there’s at least one person you know who’s experienced one firsthand, even if you haven’tWe decided one day that there shouldn’t be a reason why we can’t go out for a good time and have a great next day—so we created nextday.
So what happens when two former-mckinsey consultants put their heads together to create a solution? we put science-backed ingredients together into an fda-certified formula to create a product that works to eliminate hangovers, boost one’s mood, and create an amazing, productive daySound at least halfway interesting? keep reading!
About the role: if you’re reading this, you already know that building relationships are critical for business growthOur goal is to give individuals the leads and tools they need to go out, foster connections with our prospective accounts, and close new business.
The outbound sales consultant (osc) will meet prospects where they are in the buying journey and guide them through to completionFor us, this looks like reaching out to and establishing relationships with grocers, other retailers, wholesalers, distributors, and more.
The osc will work closely with the leadership team to help define goals and build a tactical short-term and long-term sales vision to build nextday’s reach and pipeline.
Here are some day-in-the-life highlights:
Reach out via email, linkedin, and phone to leads in order to find appropriate contact points and establish relationships
Pitch nextday to retailers, distributors, and more in order to close sales
See how sales plays a role in the larger picture of nextday’s, and your, growth and work to amplify reach whenever possible
Qualify leads and take an appropriate course of action—if a large distributor tells you we need a few smaller niche accounts first, take that into consideration and share that with the team so that we can move forward together to bring you the leads you need
Perks of the role:
Uncapped commission
20% commission on new deals and 20% residual
Opportunity to work with a team of former mckinsey consultants, private equity professionals, and more
Flexible work schedule—make your own work day!
About you: so now, finally, we’ve gotten to you! to excel in this position, the sales process shouldn’t be a brand new ventureYou don’t mind picking up the phone to speak with complete strangers (in fact, you probably enjoy it!) and will work to get past the gatekeepers and different departments to find the right person to speak with.
Ideally, you have a background in sales of some sort, regardless if it’s cpg, saas, marketing, or another nicheOur sales cycle can often be pretty quick, so being able to move quickly and pivot is critical to the role.
Requirements:
Past sales experience is strongly preferred
Must be outgoing and have good phone etiquette—you don’t need to be the life of the party, but speaking to strangers in an upbeat and positive manner shouldn’t be a concern
Can take a list of leads and run a sales pipeline with them
Should also have good email etiquette—we have scripts and templates for you to follow, but ultimately the way one communicates in the back-and-forth will influence the outcome of the conversation
Thank you for your time in reading over this! we look forward to hearing from you.
