Within hob, the candidate will be responsible for driving relationships and new contracts with some of the leading brand
Houses nationally and internationally.
Roles and responsibilities
market understanding of trends and macro-level drivers of e-commerce in india
business understanding of each of the business units at flipkart fashion and myntra
strategic curation of brands wish list in consultation with internal business teams
key account management of international/national brands during the business development stage
complete ownership to drive discussions from pitching to on-boarding
continuous improvement of internal/external practices and processes
cross-functional role with multiple stakeholder management – internal and external
Responsibilities:
understand the current trends, opportunities, competition at a business unit level and use this knowledge to
Sharpen the brands wish list for licensing
lead business development efforts to build a strong pipeline of brands
actively look for opportunities to refine the end-to-end process from pitching to on-boarding to improve the agility
Of the charter
lead conversations with internal stakeholders on commercial and legal closures
ensure timely completion of brands’ requests like sales reports, payments and other specific needs
take initiatives to understand the internal data to monitor the business metrics of active brands and raise flags
Timely for course-correction
support the marketing, business finance functions for a smooth functioning of the brand
be able to strongly position the value and the relative competitive positioning for the fk group of companies
take complete ownership of the key accounts being managed
Qualifications &; experience
minimum 1-3 years of business management experience preferably in e-commerce with an mba/pgdm degree
From tier 1/2 institutes
excellent analytical skill & strong program management skills
strong experience in key account management/client relationship management
demonstrated ability to work with multiple teams with a high degree of inter-personal skills
strong analytical, numbers acumen to generate and evaluate business forecasts
ability to handle complexity and ambiguity and to set milestones for timely execution
strong marketing bent of mind and consumer understanding for the category
demonstrated ability to work autonomously in a highly demanding environment
strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills
strong articulation & presentation skills.
