Major imports to be planned from bangladesh, china, sri lanka, malaysia and

Responsibilities
Initiate & arrange monthly & seasonal rfq participation from various service
Providers of international freight forwardersEnsure cost optimization with
Adherence to sla achievement.
Handle day to day coordination with suppliers and internal buying teams across
Shipment readiness, inwards planning & import documentation
Sound understanding of import processes as per law of the land and handling
Any related queries with the customs and chasAligning with internal taxation,
Compliance and audit teams for meeting the imports compliance norms
Identification of suitable partners for freight movement, destination handling
And stock processingWorking on commercials and contract closures
Setting up sops for international freight movement and company inwards with
The legal requirements involved for international suppliers and internal teams.
Imparting training and aligning the stakeholders on sop adherence
Internal stakeholders management- liasoning with legal, taxation, compliance,
Warehouse, planning, buying and accounts and payable teams for shipment
Planning to drop and post-delivery reconciliation
External stakeholders- working closely with freight forwarders, clearance
Agents, 3pl service providers on kra achievement
Requirements

Skills and competencies)
16-8 years of experience in the field of exim and international logistics
2Strong negotiation skills and commercial understanding for international and
Domestic freight costs
3Understanding basic customs laws- hsn and custom duty declaration, related
Documentation required for import/export clearance
4Team management, good communication and interpersonal skills, planning and
Decision making approach, to be able to operate independently
