Under the supervision of the digital marketing director, the lead digital marketing specialist’s primary role is to research, produce, and execute digital advertising strategy as well as analytics and reporting through social media, display networks, and search engines in support of ministry partner* marketing initiatives including conversions (e.gFundraising, subscriptions), lead acquisition, lead nurture, audience engagement and retention.
Ministry partners consist of moody radio, donor development (fundraising), today in the word, education (moody bible institute), and moody conferences and events.

Create marketing strategies that effectively engage target audiences according to ministry partner goals and audience needs (inform, engage, nurture, convert to donors, build loyalty)
Write, produce, run, and report on digital advertising utilizing facebook ad manager, google search ads, centro (basis), and other platforms.
Track and optimize advertising campaigns to ensure optimal roas.
Develop analytics reports, focusing on kpi’s, for each unique advertising campaign.
Produce monthly analytics reports, focusing on kpi’s related to the performance of seasonal and ongoing advertising.
Train and become certified on the eloqua email marketing automation email platform and mongoose cadence sms platform (to serve as a backup to the digital communications team)
Continuously study and update audiences for use in advertising campaign targeting.
Research and implement best practice advertising strategies to improve overall digital advertising.
Manage advertising budget and invoice reociliation for ministry partners and cultivate trust among them.
Keeps up-to-date on digital advertising platform options and trends via training, research, etc.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Bachelor`s degree in marketing, advertising, communications, or other related field.
Working knowledge of creating digital ads and analytics.
Authorized to work in the us legally without sponsorship.
2 years or more of experience in digital marketing.
Experience using a content management system.
Experience using a dsp (demand side platform, for display advertising).
Experience using facebook’s business manager.
Experience using google ads (certification preferred).
Experience using google analytics.
Experience using google tag manager.
Experience in a non-profit organization.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
This is a full-time position: monday through friday, 8:30 a.mTo 5 p.m.
During covid, many staff members are working remote with minimal to zero time in the officeThis role will require a home internet connection in order to appropriately perform dutiesA moody-issued laptop computer and accessories will be providedPost covid, this role will become remote 3-4 days a week, and 1-2 days a week in the office.
No travel is expected for this position.
