Milestone systems is looking for an experienced head of channel sales for the united statesThe head of channel sales will lead our channel sales management team and report to our director of sales, north americasThe head of channel sales will provide direction, supervision, and support to all five of our national sales managers.

Build and maintain a successful field sales management team
Provide guidance to team on leadership development, performance management, and hiring activities
Lead through our roifi values of reliability, openness, innovation, flexibility, and innovation
Provide sales managers direction, leadership, and support
Deploy channel sales strategies and initiatives throughout the united states
Promote and develop a value selling culture
Deliver sales revenue on budget objectives
Ensure firm adherence to policies across the region
Consistently update all departments of channel sales goals, status, and achievements
Perform other related tasks as assigned
Sales budget development, tracking and delivery on budget
Expense budget development, tracking and delivery on budget
Ensuring successful salesforce crm adoption monthly sales team pipeline discussions and associated reporting
Sales revenue forecast management and reporting (90 day, 30 day, bi-weekly updates)
Weekly report consolidation and feedback delivery from the united states
Frequent field travel with sales team to ensure continuity of message and quality/development of field managers
Conduct team reviews following milestone’s performance management framework
Education, promotion, and adoption of channel partner program strategies in the field
Review and approval of project registration and deviation process/documents
Providing exception approval and resolution assistance on atypical issues
Follow up with post-sales on outstanding, stranded or strategic support issues
Global interaction on strategic or large project support issues
Assistance with overlay events that are not specific to regional field sales territories – national tradeshows, company events
Actively work to streamline process and empower sales team success
All other duties as assigned periodically by my manager
Expected travel time for this position is approximately 60% annually
Travel is sometimes required during part of, or all of, a weekend
To be successful in this role you need a demonstrated history of leading field sales teams to achieve and exceed revenue targetsThe following skills are required:
Experience managing managers and departments remotely
Experience developing and deploying kpi metrics in sales organizations
Strong business acumen demonstrated by a combination of education and experience
Familiarity with the security industry is preferred
