Within ef, the servicenow engineering team is looking for a passionate service engineer who thinks broadly, collaborates well, and thrives when contributing to large projects with multiple business partnersThe candidate should be able to multi-task easily between a platform upgrade and update set reviews, eagerly keeps up to date on new servicenow features, and advocates for ci/cd within the servicenow development model.
Our projects revolve around the now platform, various servicenow modules (itsm, irm, vrm, sam), apis, workflow orchestration, compliance automation, data analytics, and utilizing azure to enable external incident and data synchronizationYou will be working with a team of other passionate service and software engineers responsible for the end-to-end design and development of these core services for key stakeholders in our engineering fundamentals organization and across other organizations within microsoft.

Note- this position is based in redmond, wa but we will also consider remote candidates; the hire can be located annywhere in the united states.
Responsibilities
Works individually and with teams to drive service health goals and objectives across multiple instances of servicenow and our azure subscriptions
Provides and reinforces development and operational standards to other servicenow development feature crews producing and releasing servicenow features
Responsible for evaluating and implementing automation and tooling solutions to ensure consistency in our processes and to remove manual repetitive tasks
Introduce new and impactful technologies to the production support tool chain that help minimize friction for production releases and support, and to diagnose and recover from production incidents more quickly
Owns platform upgrades, patches, and hotfixes across multiple production instances
Expected to take part in the team 24x7 on-call rotation
Travel - 0%-10%, domestic
Qualifications
4+ years of operating, monitoring, and improving a large-scale online service
2+ years of experience with servicenow platform administration and upgrades
2+ years of experience scripting and/or coding in c#, powershell, javascript, python
Certified servicenow administrator
Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with people
Ability to operate effectively and independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
Experience with servicenow quebec or later
Experience azure hybrid environments for mid server hosting
Preferred, not required:
Ba or bs in computer science or related experience preferred
Certified servicenow technical architect or master architect
Experience with (one of) servicenow irm, vrm, sam
Experience with servicenow distributed development
Experience with kusto queries
Experience with azure devops

The salary for this role in the state of colorado is between $115,700 to $173,000
