As manager, mmp component inventory management at micron, you need to assist on the purchase materials, consumables and indirect material, monitoring and control the delivery, expedite the po, monitor inventory, reconcile accounting issues, purchase non-inventory support items, and storage controlYou also responsible to control the material consumption to deliver cost savingYour roles and responsibility also include inventory management and control for wip and die bank.
Responsibilities :
Material planning and cost control
Manage key material, small tools planning inclusive planning, purchase, receive, storage, maintenance, issuance, cleaning and etc to ensure no line interruption and in good quality condition
Manage the right level of inventory and material consumption to ensure reduce scrap cost
Initiate projects to reduce material scrap and cost reduction
Inventory control and management
Manage inventory and wip in production floor accuracy by enforcement the flow compliance and shift audit
Manage receiving, storage and dispatch to the floor on time
Requirement
Has thorough knowledge of production processes
Investigates problems and offers solutions to resolve discrepancies.
Able to communicate and write special requests as required
Applies company policies and procedures to resolve routine issues
Works on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors
Normally receives general instructions on routine work and detailed instructions on new projects or assignments
Good written and spoken english skills
Builds productive working relationships internally
