Job description
Key responsibilities:
Shape and implement a robust and comprehensive risk and compliance management framework that allows scalable sustenance of live products and seamless onboarding of new products & services
Implement consistent processes across various azure product & services across multiple functional portfolios for benchmarking of risk assessment and timely mitigation/resolution
Manage identification, reporting and mitigation of risks related to security, resilience, and quality of azure product services
Regularly monitor and report risks and resilience across product services in key governance forums
Own and be accountable for risk and compliance dashboard and rag status on all live products and services
Lead on organisation and execution of rehearsals/dry runs of resilience procedures, such as disaster recovery.
Explore new tools and technology to lower risk and optimise identification of threats.
Collaborate with architects, cloud platform team, landscape team, devops team, and data smes for management of risks across various areas vizAccess, data management, application availability, service model.
Work in partnership with unilever teams, such as product owners, am/devops teams of source systems, solution factory, market engagement teams.
Work in partnerships with supplier devops teamsDrive standardization in ways of working across multiple suppliers
Engage with unilever operational excellence & compliance team (oec) to align d&a products & services with unilever service standards.
Identify improvements in service delivery design and ways of working in order to pro-actively eliminate risk incurrence
Prepare and execute internal audits and work with external auditors, where required.
The successful applicant
Experience and qualifications required:
Essential:
Experience in managing compliance, review, audit work for large scale it solution, preferably data lake/data warehouse.
Experience of risk management, working with multi-disciplinary team, in a matrix management role.
Proficient in project management skills, such as co-ordination, planning and schedule, reporting, communication and tracking of deliverables.
Experience of managing risk and compliance for critical service/programmes where resilience and uptime have near zero tolerance.
Proficient with understanding of cloud technology, data and analytics technology (technical expertise not required).
Experience of running or participating in structured audits, to meet internal or external standards.
Proficient in process management, to track, highlight issues and implement improvements.
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to learn new tools, technologies and process quickly
Self-motivated problem solver; able to thrive in a dynamic and result-driven environment
Desirable:
Professional certification (agile methodologies, pmi, itil, etc.)
Domain experience in analytics and data lake platform & technologies
Experience of working within consumer goods or retail industry.
