Wellness manager
This role will be crucial in realizing the ambitious strategy and roadmap for the miq centre of excellenceReporting to the vp people success, this person will be responsible for the end-to-end wellness of coe.
He/she/they will represent our commitment to our peoples’ wellness, health and lives the values of curiosity and continuous developmentThis person should be solutions-oriented, driven by a desire to support the growth of people, and ambitious, always looking to push the envelope.
They should possess core counselling capabilities, know how to ask probing questions, provide support, and remain objectiveKnow when to ask for support from more senior members of the talent team as neededThey should be able to design and implement wellness and work life programs and policies to build a positive and employee centric culture that will enhance our employee engagement, facilitate recruiting and support productivity improvements.

At the macro level, the wellness manager will be focussed on understanding the organization strategy and its future capability needs in order to identify wellness & sustainability priorities across the organizationOn an individual level, it’s about creating safe working environment and implementing the set strategy where employees can continuously develop to be their best.
Responsibilities
Duties/responsibilities:
Leads a comprehensive wellness programDefine strategies to increase usage and monitor measures of success that meet business objectives
Coordinates, plans, and facilitates sustainability, health and fitness activities and programs for employees.
Plans and implements classes, speakers, seminars, personal training, on-site health events and fitness assessments that promote healthy lifestyles.
Develops promotion and publicity plans for wellness and sustainability programs throughout the organization for hybrid model of workforce (covering in-person and virtual employees).
Compiles statistical summaries of participant data, class attendance, and equipment inventories to ensure proper detailed program evaluation.
Assists in the development of budget, policies, and procedures relevant to the operation of the wellness program.
Assist in managing vendor relationships for wellness programming
Initiate process improvements and deployment of benchmarking-generated best practices taking into account industry trends
Provides educational presentations and training programs.
Benchmarking with best practice companies and trends in the wellness space
Analysis of employees’ health risks and conditions to define areas of focus
Review of vendor marketplace to select optimal partners
Run coe wellness steering committee made up of senior business leaders across the coe
Required skills/abilities:
Ability to work cooperatively with people at all levels with respect.
Experienced in creation, negotiation, and administration of contracts and policy creation
