Merits health products is seeking an experienced complex rehab sales professional to lead the avid rehab division of meritsAvid rehab caters to complex rehab technology (crt) devices that are medically necessary and customized to fulfill the mobility needs of a specific individualAs the avid rehab national sales manager, you will lead a dynamic sales team and help merits surpass our growth goalsThe right candidate is responsible for building and leading avid rehab and precision comfort sales, by implementing technology and processes, and partnering with the account management, inside sales, marketing, product, engineering, and operations teams to deliver the best possible customer experienceThis is an exciting opportunity to unequivocally influence merits’ overall success and growth.

The avid rehab national sales manager (nsm) is directly responsible for increasing the sales of merits’ avid rehab and complex rehab accessibility offeringsThe avid rehab nsm works nationally to develop their customer knowledge of avid, targeting key/focus accounts, developing opportunities, and exceeding budgeted sales goals.
Essential job responsibilities/requirements:
Coordinate with the director of sales to establish avid’s annual and monthly sales objectives for territory sales managers and independent reps
Travel with each territory sales manager, and independent rep on a quarterly basis to observe, train and coach
Maintain relationships with avid key accounts: dealers, distributors and wholesalers through phone and email on a regular basis
Educate customers on the value proposition and benefits of the product
Plan, schedule and conduct training for territory sales managers and independent reps.
Weekly call report to be provided to management team to evaluate and provide feedback on sales activities
Keep current on new product information and the development of new products
Keep current on industry standards and trends, competitors, and leading customer strategies
Keep abreast of state and federal regulations as they relate to complex rehab technology
Maintain and interact regularly with r&d, inside sales and other internal support resources
Other duties as assigned
Minimum requirements:
Atp (assistive technology practitioner - credential offered by rehabilitation engineering and assistive technology, resna)
Bachelor’s degree
5 years minimum industry and management experience in complex rehab technology
Excellent leadership, organizational, and time management skills
Strong negotiating skills and capacity
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficient with google office including word, excel, powerpoint, and google mail
Strong written and oral communication and customer service skills
Strong team player and collaborator
Valid driver’s license is required

Physical demand and working conditions:
Duties are performed in an office and field environment
Contact with internal and external customers and vendors.
Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
