Assistant director of alumni programs, alumni association, to be responsible for operational coordination and management of programs which support the alumni association’s focus on engaging alumni through their lifecycle of learning and career and professional developmentWill participate in the development of new programs and the promotion and enhancement of existing programs.
Required: bachelor’s degree; at least two years of relevant experience, preferably in alumni relations or volunteer leadership development in a nonprofit setting; ability to execute all aspects of programs and events, both virtual and live; excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to work as part of a team and collaborate and work effectively with colleagues in a diverse service-oriented environment; attention to detail; ability to handled diversified tasks concurrently; excellent planning, analytical, problem-solving, time management, organizational, scheduling, project management, and written and oral communication skills; ability to take initiative and anticipate consequences of actions, potential problems, or opportunities for change; proficiency with pc computers and standard applications, including microsoft word, excel, and powerpoint; expertise with or willingness to learn imodules; tact and good judgment with confidential information; and a flexible approach to the working environmentSeek a self-starter who can independently organize, prioritize, and carry out detailed procedures in a fast-paced and ever-evolving work environment with minimal supervisionPreferred: experience working with marketing and events teamsJob #20083-6
Must be willing and able to travel and work irregular hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
This position will be hybrid, with a combination of on-campus and remote work.
