Who is the data squad? our data team`s primary focus is to provide accurate and consistent data to our platform and customersData sources will vary from hundreds of data providers as well as from our very own platform analyticsAs a member of the data team, you`ll be working on our data pipeline orchestrated by various open source technologiesYou`ll be joining a team that cares about shipping sustainable and tested solutions that will affect real-world real estate transactions.
What you will do as a srData engineer:
Build and maintain modern data pipelines that make data available and accessible to the entire company and our clients
Build custom parsers and scrapers which will feed into our data ingestion service
Design, build, test, and deploy microservices/api to be consumed by our platform and clients
Partner with architecture and external development teams to design reusable frameworks and technical solutions
Participate in the evaluation of emerging technology and tools
Optimize application for speed and scalability
Participate in code reviews
Participate in squad ceremonies and team events (lunch & learn, brainstorms, etc.)
Mentor junior engineers
Skills and qualifications:
5+ years of experience with data pipelines(etl, elt, db)
3+ years of experience with web application frameworks such as python, nodejs, react, redux.
3+ years of experience with data-driven architecture and systems design, restful apis, serverless/lambdas, microservices architecture
Experience with sql, nosql, in-memory and/or distributed sql (e.gPostgresql, redis,dynamodb, auroradb)
Experience integrating with 3rd party apis, external frameworks, and libraries
Experience with software as a service (saas), multi-tenancy application development
Embraces the concepts of agile scrum software development and its related collaboration and issue tracking tools (e.gFreshworks, jira, rally)
Proven success working in agile environments (scrum, kanban, etc.)
