Role & responsibilities:
Corporate operations director will be responsible to direct the design, planning, construction and maintenance of an organization`s facilities and propertiesLead strategic and operational initiatives to drive transformations within corporate services
Responsible for developing budgets and long-range facilities plans based on company growth and future needsTo support lowe’s india’s operations, security , vendor relationship management and travel team in delivering a high level of service and to manage corporate services partners, vendors, local policy and regulations.
Plan and drive strategies for the site leadership related to real estate and workplace solutions
Drive digital experience across the organization around workplace services
Contribute to policymaking and liaison across internal and external teams
Partner effectively with key groups such as it, legal, finance, and hr to ensure enhance associate value experience
Lead the real estate projects identification, selection, contracting, and long-term supervision of project managers, architects, and all other parties involved in the project.
Develop and manage facilities operations programs and processes for all day to day operations
Source local services and goods needed to perform day-to-day operations through 3rd party suppliersThis includes scope of work definition, implement innovative programs, processes, and projects that aim to reduce short and long-term operating costs and increase productivity or longevity
Liaise and work with global teams to align policies, processes, and partner for global projects delivered locally and globally
Develop, review and keep the business continuity plan and arrangements up to date, fit for purpose and regularly tested.
Plan, manage, deliver the annual facilities budget.
Assess and forecast financial performance, including comparison of actuals to budget, consider outlook and manage activity to deliver agreed financial outcomes
Motivate, develop and lead a brilliant team and build great relationships with external suppliers (including catering, cleaning, m&e, storage, utilities, real estate, car fleet etc.)
Planning and scheduling the team onto projects, delegating, and bringing insight into ways to prioritize and smooth demand
Maintain the safety management system for contractors, including induction processes, permits to work, cdm site safety plans etc
Maintain proficiency in all relevant policies and procedures, including the ability to articulate and enforce those policies
