The product manager is the company’s product leaderThe product manager is responsible for the product planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle, including: gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with engineering, sales, marketing and support to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met.
The product manager’s job also includes ensuring that the product supports the company’s overall strategy and goals and plays a key role in defining the product strategy.
Build features that teachers and students use in the classroom everyday
Define and analyze metrics that inform the success of products and projects
Collect and integrate insights from usability studies, research, and market analysis into product requirements
Collaborate and communicate effectively with a diverse set of teammates and partners
Act as the primary point of contact for our outsourced technical development team
Be an expert with respect to the product and the competition
The ideal candidate
Minimum of 5+ years experience in product management
Demonstrated ability to design, build, launch, and iterate/improve on compelling products
2+ years of experience in the education technology market
Strong analytical skills, including proficiency in hypothesis-driven a/b testing to drive product changes
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Bachelor’s degree (mba preferred)
Technical background, with experience in html5, wordpress, api-based product integrations, accessibility
Excellent teamwork skills
Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
Must be able to travel occasionally
