Lincare is the nation’s leading provider of oxygen, durable medical equipment and clinical respiratory servicesWe are currently seeking an accounts payable supervisor, the successful candidate will have the option to work onsite at our corporate headquarters in clearwater, florida or on a remote basis in the united statesWorking hours are ~8am-5pm est
This is a critical role within the accounting department that will focus on the following tasks:
· oversee the procure-to-pay process
· supervise accounts payable personnel
· ensure timely payments to and reconciliation with vendors
· ensure correct booking of costs / capex through month-end accruals
· maintain updated records, kpi’s and reports
· ensure compliance with lincare policy and procedure
Responsibilities:
Oversee outsourced ap and expense processing including daily review of kpi’s to ensure timely and accurate ap processing
Ensure timely vendor payment and reconciliation
Timely response to vendor and center ap escalations
Communication and training with field employees
· ensure correct booking of costs through month-end accruals
· ensure that capex is correctly accounted for through the month end accrual process
· ensure compliance with lincare policy and procedures
· ensure compliance with internal audit recommendations.
· monitor all identified sox controls to ensure compliance
· complete special and ad-hoc reports and analysis and projects in a timely and accurate manner
· other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Requirements:
Expert level knowledge of the procure-to-pay process
Minimum of 5 year of experience in accounts payable and/or accounting
Prior people management experience
Advanced knowledge of accounting
· strong written and verbal communication skills
· ability to multitask while managing multiple priorities
· ability to respond to vendor queries, solve vendor account issues and reconcile balances
· proficient in ms-excel and data analytics
· able to easily adapt to change
