Lead qualification and follow up is a crucial component of effective sales enablementA key player is the business development representative who functions as a human bridge between marketing, sales, and prospectsThe primary focus of this role is to manage the inbound lead qualification function and processes, generate qualified leads in coordination with the marketing team, and support the set up of introductory meetings for the sales team.
What you’ll do:
Follow-up on lead activity in a relevant, personalized, and value-added wayUse the lead activity as a trigger to serve, educate, and build a relevant connection that leads to a business conversation.
Collaborate with marketing managers and account executives to ensure appropriate inbound lead qualification and follow up.
Qualify, clean, classify, and route leads to the appropriate owner for follow up.
Support the growth of this function by building out processes, documentation, and templates.
Measure/report kpis, continually test and optimize inbound approach, and ensure targets are met.
Maintain a strong understanding of legitscript products, services, and support materials.
Research and verify information about the prospect and their company prior to engaging with prospects to help fill in any unknown information gaps.
Help prospects gather information about our services and solutions and provide thought leadership.
Actively suggest additional resources from the legitscript content library.
Ensure a clean hand-off between marketing and sales to deliver better and timely qualified leads, and ensure a seamless experience for prospects.
Support outreach to potential customers to gauge interest, develop relationships, and set sales meetings.
What you’ll bring:
(preferred) 2+ years of experience in a merchant risk management, trust and safety, or payments industry role.
(preferred) 4 year college or university degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Strong presentation, writing, and general communication skills
Organized and methodical, with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a high level of detail and accuracy.
Results-driven, with a test and optimize mindset.
Drives to meet and exceed kpis, and measures day-to-day indicators and levers that ensure targets are met and progress is on track.
Excellent time management and problem-solving skills as well as the ability to use good judgment and make strong independent decisions.
Can work independently and enjoys autonomy.
