Vice President - Financial Planning & Analysis

Lead is a tech-driven learning system that transforms schools and educationWe partner with affordable private schools across the country and visibly improve their learning outcomes, their operations and their enrolmentsOur mission is to empower india by making excellent education affordable and accessible to every childThe vp - fp&a will play a critical role in helping us achieve this mission by overseeing company financial planning and analysis with deep business understanding, strong work ethics & rigor in financial modelingWe are looking a person who is passionate about working in a growth-oriented organization and find the idea of taking excellent education to these communities inspiring and worth spending time onResponsibilities: • drive cost charter, brm from finance perspective• drive business finance (other than sales) • support the ask of financial controller • responsible for debt and equity - cost of funding optimization • drive fp&a team`s charter, hr / scm / marketing / l&p / tech - insights and benchmarking • responsibility of project management - integration of m&a, support for fund raise / m&a / due-diligence • ability to identifying and implementing best practices for fp&a, working with strategy - competitor benchmarking • build fp&a function • responsible for automation and simplification - incl bi tools and collaborate with data analytics team requirements • chartered accountant or mba finance with 12-18 years of experience• knowledge of automated financial and accounting reporting systems • effective oral and written communication skills with a strong ability to efficiently communicate financial results to both financially and non-financially oriented persons• strong business partnering and interpersonal skills• high degree of proficiency with excel, ms access and powerpoint• contributions to the education industry desirable • worked on big 5 will be added advantage skills and attributes: • possesses honesty, integrity, strong work ethic, and mult-functional collaboration skills • strong problem solving and communication abilities; is organized and efficient • strong analytical skills and ability to connect the dots with business realities • proven ability to meet deadlines in high-paced work environment • proficient with multiple technologies • leadership skills to independently build and lead a strong team • excited by and open to new ideas and new ways of doing things
