About the position

The associate – 1

Broadly, the key responsibilities are:

Audit service delivery – be a part of the team that is responsible for audit service delivery and ensure timely and quality audit deliverables on the work done by self.

Content & industry focus – build strong domain expertise (accounting & auditing) and industry knowledge to enable better engagement with us et and improve quality of work performed from gdc

Roles and responsibilities

The associate 1 will be predominantly responsible to -

Demonstrate basic accounting and auditing knowledge
Understand audit procedures performed by gdc
Familiarize with audit documentation tool –eaudit
Familiarize with audit tools/applications used (idea, wisdom,caseware, ms office)
Efficient and effective performance of audit procedures within the time provided with quality
Nominate in self-development activities in technical and project management areas
Demonstrate strong inter-personal skills
Participate in / lead team and group activities

Education and experience requirements

Mba / masters’ degree / post graduate degree in finance & accounting with first division (60%)
0 – 1 year of full time experience with a reputed company / firm

Technical skills

Audit and accounting knowledge
Good knowledge of ms office (with an emphasis on ms excel skills)
Strong english communication skills (oral & written)

Enabling skills

Attention to detail and quality consciousness
Be a quick learner and demonstrate adaptability to change
Should be willing to and capable of delivering under tight timelines, basis the business needs including working on weekends

Should be open to travel to us on short and long term assignments
