Kbr is working toward advancing our knowledge of the universe and ourselvesExploring space means more than charting the final frontierWe are looking for mid to senior-level thermal engineers to perform analyses in support of the design and development of launch vehicles.
Kbr is seeking thermal engineers to support our kbr space engineering division in our science and space business unitThe thermal engineers (se) will have experience with launch vehicle thermal analysis (including cryogenic upper stages) that includes aero-heating, ignition heating, and base heating to assess hardware performanceThe thermal analysis will support the production of the product development layouts and drawings, and to evaluate special request for thermal analysis
Necessary to address design changes/concerns.
Required knowledge and qualifications:
Candidates must meet the requirements listed below to be considered for this position.
U.sCitizenship is required due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements.
Bachelor`s degree in engineering.
Must have a minimum of 10 years engineering experience related to spacecraft.
Must have experience with thermal desktop, sinda/fluint, spaceclaim, td direct and trasys analysis tools as a minimum.
Travel may be required.
This position is remote with some travel required.
