What your job will be like:

Under general direction, incumbent will develop and enhance applications to support the srf institute’s accelerator component and subsystem production and development data management system, pansophyThe system is used to support jlab accelerators, srf science & technology, the doe complex and other partners with both cryomodule production and research projectsThe system is also required to support the institute`s quality management system in support of iso certification.
In this role, you will:
Provide written code in coldfusion, html, javascript and sql
Develop new websupport srf to define, implement and perform quality control activities
Maintain existing -based applications that expand the functionalities of the local data management system in support of srfops projects as approved by srfops management.
Provide good documentation of all work and work effectively as a member of a team.
Position requirements
Qualifications we require:
Bachelor`s degree in computer science or related technical field is required
Knowledge, skills, & abilities:
Demonstrated skill in writing web applications utilizing html, xml, java, and javascript is critical
Experienced with html composition, and editing tools (e.g., dreamweaver, coldfusion builder, visual studio), javascript programming, and creation of web pages.is particularly desired.experience with java and object-oriented programming.
Experience working with relational databases, using oracle and pl/sql
Must possess the ability to write web applications with clean html interfaces that work properly with various browsers and produce integrated yet modular functional code elements
Must be able to demonstrate productive development work in unix and windows environments
Experienced with shell scripting and editing in the windows and unix environment.
Experience with document storage and retrieval systems
Experienced with version-controlled maintenance of files and directories in windows and unix operating system environments for production software products
Must be able to work productively as an individual and as a team member to complete work in a timely manner.
Ableorganize .and prioritize multiple tasks effectively
