As a data engineer, you will work as a consultative team memberFunction as data team member for engagements to support the implementation of data and reporting productsEngaging from proof of concept (poc) stages through to implementation of complex reporting and analytical systems, you work collaboratively to successfully plan, implement in sandbox and coordinate deployment in the production environmentExpected to be strong in sql and have the technical depth to roll up your sleeves to work with alteryx and imbibe best practices and other solutions as neededNeed strong sql with work experience on programming data pipelines in big data and /or aws.
Data query, read from files (extract),
Data manipulation using spark, python
Data load and create files either by pyspark or alteryxData set creations
Driving automation, improve configuration, tuning, and performance of the existing data pipelines and reportsExpert skills in alteryx and /or tableau
Write and produce technical documentation.
Being meticulous about tracking things and follow-through.
Working knowledge of agile methodologies/practices and Apply Now them
Knowledge cybersecurity and overall information security is desirable
Experience and skills
This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:
Bs/ba degree or equivalent experience
Advanced knowledge of application, data, and infrastructure architecture disciplines
Understanding of architecture and design across all systems
Working proficiency in developmental toolsets
Knowledge of industry-wide technology trends and best practices
Ability to work in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals
Passionate about building an innovative culture
Proficiency in one or more modern programming languages
Understanding of software skills such as business analysis, development, maintenance, and software improvement
