Full job description
Work in cross functional team in an agile environment to understand and address key business challenges as well as ensure flawless execution of credit risk strategies/related activities
Develop, communicate and implement optimal solutions for risk strategies (including rules, cutoffs, policies, operational flows, monitoring etc.)
Provide expertise on coding for strategy development, reporting, automation or implementation/testing and initiatives related to the launch of new products, risk mitigation processes and decision system infrastructure
Identify key risk indicators and metrics, develop key metrics, enhance reporting and formulate areas of analytic focus to better capture and manage the risk of the portfolio
3+ years of experience in analytics preferably in credit risk consumer lending business
Masters or bachelor degree, ideally in an economics, business or mathematics based subject
Advanced understanding of sas, sas enterprise miner, python and/or other decision tree software
Ability to query large amounts of data and transform the raw data into actionable management information
Good understanding of statistical modeling concepts & techniques.
Good written and oral communication skills to clearly present analytical findings and make business recommendations via the use of microsoft word, excel, and powerpoint
