Scope
The senior level clinical outcomes analyst is a key contributor in a partnership with clinical leaders, data scientists and financial experts to design and develop outcome studies that validate digital care transformation and its management modelsThe ability to coordinate and align various data into persuasive clinical and business-friendly terms, along with clear communication, is vital to the success of this roleThis role reports to an executive director level position.

This position develops and produces digital care / telehealth study to show the cost/benefit and value of digital care and telehealth solutionsThis position leads or supports studies for publication internal and external to intermountain healthcare.
This position provides guidance and development in design and management of research, cqi, and analytic projects for telehealth and digital care delivery related services and programsThe incumbent proactively facilitates clinical and non-clinical discussions across acute and non-acute patient services to demonstrate clinical, operational, and business value of programsThis position works in collaboration with diverse team members including data analysts, clinical program leaders, technology, finance, and other subject matter experts (sme) to quantify, measure, validate and present resultsThis position acts as a lead for identifying project priority and alignment.
Core essentials:
Provides senior level consulting in design and management of research, cqi, and analytic projects for telehealth and digital care delivery related services and programs.
Identifies/defines key metrics and analytic methods for evaluating telehealth-based and digital care services with clinical programs or business leadersKeeps apprised of clinical research developing new ideas and key questions that should be evaluated.
Participates in clinical program reviews to develop and validate value propositions for consideration and business case proposal metrics development.
Comprehensive understanding of clinical practice models including various telehealth-based and digital care c models and services.
Provides project management and leadership as appropriate to drive timelines and deliverables.
Creates and participates in developing and creating resulting reports, research papers, presentations, articles, and other documentation of study results.
Actively networks and builds professional relationships throughout intermountain healthcare, the regional community, and national user groups and forumsUpon invitation, makes presentations to internal and external user groups and forumsMay participate in case studies conducted by external groups upon approval.
Additional essentials:
Use statistical or analytical software in programs to understand data, query models, and results.
Collaborates with team on supervision of analyses, selecting appropriate models, determining data sources, driving interpretable results, and actionable insight.
Designs and develops data driven reports that include graphs, output lists of data, and basic use of parameters that are used to promote evidence-based decision making.
Assists in the identification of clinical and technology-based data quality issuesAs appropriate, trains other individuals and teams in the routine use of data collection, analysis, reporting, and interpretation tools for measuring performance.
Documents work and projects per enterprise-wide standards.
Openly shares and proactively offers appropriate suggestions to help the team accomplish its goals.
Knowledgeable in quality improvement principles, study design, development, analysis and dissemination of new knowledge and the use of evidence to guide and support clinical practice.
Minimum qualifications
Master`s degree in a field of study relevant to the positionEducation must be obtained through an accredited institutionDegree will be verified.
Five years of experience in clinical delivery including in-person or telehealth.

Knowledge and use of statistical software systems, performing statistical analysis, technical writing, and working with outcome-oriented data.

Five years of experience using statistical research methods in quantitative and their use in outcomes tracking.

Experience using word processing, spreadsheet, database, statistical, internet, and e-mail applications.

Experience working with advanced database queries using sql.
Preferred qualifications
Five years of healthcare industry related experience.

Experience with telehealth services and models .

Strong proficiency using word processing, spreadsheet, internet and e-mail, and scheduling applications.

Experience in a role requiring effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Demonstrated understanding of data visualization.
