Job purpose
Ice data services india private limited., a subsidiary of intercontinental exchange, incIs seeking a passionate qa engineer to join our quality assurance team in hyderabad, indiaThe candidate will work closely internally with business analysts, end-users and developers to facilitate and understand requirements and impact of changes in order to assist in increasing and maintaining the quality of enhancing our applicationsThe candidate should have 2-5 years of experience in the field of software quality assurance.
Responsibilities
Participate in requirement reviews, grooming and sprint planning meetings.
Review and understand functional requirements to assess their impact on the product.
Perform manual testing and ensure the product meets the requirements by using quality assurance concepts, practices.
Ability to identify bugs, document the details and track bugs.
Should have working experience in an agile development team participating in daily scrums.
Perform regression testing of the product for each release cycle.
Candidate should be accountable for the quality of the product/platform.
Provide release support during production software deployment.
Knowledge & experience
Working experience in coordinating with development team, ba, product team, and other stakeholders.
Hands on experience of testing applications in safari browser in mac os.
Experience in the financial domain(experience with equity/options trading is preferred).
Experience/knowledge of bug tracking tools such as jira.
Flexible to work on different projects.

Xperience working in an agile (scrum, kanban) environment/team focusing on sprint-by-sprint deliveries.
Contribute to sprint planning, sprint review/retrospectives and daily stand-ups meetings.
Experience with jira software for test planning.
Ability to derive test scenarios from user stories and use cases.
Write and execute test cases.
Should have experience in preparing test estimation reports and create test strategies.
Should be able to log and track defects to closure using jira and follow-up with business and developers to discuss about the issues.
Should have hands on experience in working with different modules of jira such as requirements, test plan, defects and dashboard module.
Should be able to prepare test summary report at the end of the day with results of readiness of system deployment to production or test environment.
Should be able to identify application risks, issues and set priorities, contributing in triaging of defects for upcoming internal and client demo.
Should be able to perform end-to-end software testing at various stages of application development by applying business/use cases for ad-hoc, black box, white box, security, smoke, volume, configuration, data-driven, positive/negative, uat and installation
Should be proficient in gui testing, functional testing, regression testing, integration testing, security testing, smoke testing, build verification testing, user acceptance testing and cross browser testing.
