Provide administrative and communications support and coordination to the hiv medicine association (hivma) teamExecute and support activities to advance programmatic and policy activities related to hivma’s strategic priorities.
Coordinate processes relating to hivma communications and publications, including member emails, production of issue briefs and clinical resources and graphic design needs to meet timeline and quality expectations
Manage social media accounts (twitter, linkedin, facebook), following idsa’s compliance guidelines
Support governance activities, including coordinating and organizing virtual and in-person meetings, developing briefing materials and presentations, supporting the annual elections process, and maintaining committee directories and resources in a current and accurate state
Maintain the hivma website, collaborate with staff to keep the content current and accurate
Provide coordination and administrative support to policy, advocacy and programmatic activities as needed
Respond to or route inquiries from members and the general public in a timely manner and with a focus to deliver exceptional service
Minimum qualifications and experience
Bachelor’s degree in a related business field or equivalent related experience
Prior experience in a support role with increasing responsibilities within a health policy or healthcare association preferred
Proficient in the use of all microsoft office suite programs, including sharepoint
Prior experience with professional social media accounts
Excellent communication skills – listening, writing, verbal
Strong interpersonal skills with ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships
Self-motivated, organized, detail-oriented, reliable and flexible
Proven ability to follow process directions and think independently to solve problems
Able to execute a variety of tasks, manage time efficiently to keep work and projects on track to meet established timelines
Open to learning new skills and taking on new responsibilities
