Job description: account manager this is a senior level outside sales representative calling on large global aerospace accounts and mid-size regional aerospace accounts with a new business development componentThis is a remote position and covers accounts located nationallyTravel can be up to 50% at timesAs an account manager you will:
Spend 50% of your time managing the regional relationship of large global aerospace accounts while collaborating as part of a global account teamThis includes developing and implementing account plans in alignment with strategic marketing initiatives, managing forecasting and supply activities as well as local product qualification effortsAs part of the wider global account team you will provide regional customer intelligence, insights and participate in voice of customer initiatives to uncover unmet needs in support of product development initiativesThis role will be very visible to senior leadership during contract and supply negotiations.
Invest 25% of your time contacting & qualifying new sales leads and/or target accounts identified by strategic marketing to drive new business developmentIncorporate promotion of new products to new and existing customers.
Perform account management responsibilities for assigned sales territories, maintain and grow profitable sales per the annual sales budget, engage with customers via phone, email, webex / teams, and in person visits on a national level.
Use an established sales process & methodology as part of the sales team to build, maintain and close new sales opportunities with a strong sales pipelineMaintain all customer records in a crm tool including call reports, account plans and proposals.

This position requires the ability to function with a high level of autonomyThe individual needs to be self-motivated and possess the ability to prioritize job duties daily.
Essential functions require travel on a regular basis and an ability to work extra hours if needed (exGlobal team calls with other regions).
Assists other employees in accomplishments of huntsman company goalsFollows instructions and performs other duties as may be assigned by supervisor.
Works collaboratively with team members in other functions such as customer service, inside sales, supply chain, product management, research and development, strategic marketing, finance and technical service.
Participates in environmental, health, & safety initiatives as set forth by the companyParticipates in and completes company-required training programs.
Preferred requirements:
Bachelor’s degree required in business, marketing, chemistry, engineering or related field of study.
10+ years of related customer facing experience
Excellent communication skills required – both written & verbal.
Must have a level of proficiency with internet, email, & microsoft office programs.
Previous customer facing experience is desired calling on national / global accounts in the aerospace market
Experience working with sap c4c crm application also desired.
