Position purpose:
Cyber threats continue to evolve and pose serious risks within the business environmentThd`s cyber security soc team addresses the ongoing operational requirements through multiple cyber security service lines:
The threat detection & response (tdr) team defends our environment and responds when threats are detectedAs a tdr manager, you will belong to a team of security professionals delivering 24x7 services.

Major tasks, responsibilities & key accountabilities:
100% deliver execution, plans & aligns, develop others - collaborate across teams to reduce vulnerabilities, risks and incident management; drive execution of solution delivery; guide teams in strategy, alignment, analysis and execution to ensure priorities objectives/deliverable are met; provide leadership, mentoring and coaching to direct reports

For colorado, connecticut, nevada and new york city residents: the pay range for this position is between $170,000 and $220,000Starting salary may vary based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, the position being offered, location, education, training, and/or experienceThe home depot offers additional competitive financial and non-financial benefits, which may include a performance-based bonus program or a profit sharing program depending on position.

Must be eighteen years of age or older.

Education required:
The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor`s degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.

2+ years of previous leadership experience
Preferred qualifications:
Provide technical leadership, supervision, and guidance to senior analysts and junior analysts.
Participate in leading ir efforts, overseeing event of interest/incident handoffs, and experience with associate scheduling/rotation during full scale ir to maintain best possible ir responsiveness while avoiding analyst burnout.
Develop and implement standardized operating procedures for tdr services and investigations.
Identify, track, and review relevant metrics to measure the efficiency and effectiveness of services.
Participate in research and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
Manage project planning, engagement administration, budget management, and successful completion of engagements.
Demonstrate and apply a thorough understanding of complex enterprise systems.
Use knowledge of the current it environment and industry trends to identify areas of opportunity.
Communicates effectively with the peer and partner teams, legal teams, business teams, and senior leadership through written correspondence and verbal presentations.
Drive high - quality work products within expected timeframes and on budgetMonitor progress, manage risk and ensure key stakeholders are kept informed about progress and expected outcomes.
Provide technical leadership, supervision, and guidance to senior analysts and junior analysts.
Manage individual and shift performance to consistently meet performance standards.
Coordinate operations and service level projections with partners and stakeholders; provide high level qa of services rendered.
Prepare and coordinate staffing schedules for the team; ensure that scheduling is handled effectively to meet operating requirements.
Manage recruitment, training, and development of tdr personnel.
Business continuity and disaster recovery process integration and development
Foster an innovative and inclusive team-oriented work environment.
Play an active role in counseling and mentoring junior analysts within the organization.
Additional minimum qualifications:
7+ years of overall it professional experience.
2+ years of work experience leading/managing cyber security teams.
Experience with vulnerability assessment, prioritization of risk, and coordination of remediation activities across large enterprises.
Experience with a broad range of technologies including: edr technologies, network security technologies, siem, visualization platforms.
Security-related certification(s) such as the cissp, cisa, cism, giac or other relevant certification desired.
Experience working with and managing the expectations of diverse stakeholdersProven ability to inspire teamwork and responsibility within cross-functional groups and use technology and tools to enhance the effectiveness of deliverables and services.
Demonstrable analytical expertise, decision-making capabilities, attention to detail, critical thinking, logic, solution orientation, and an ability to learn and adapt quickly
